The Centre comprises of Karen Andriunas, who is the falconer and who's dream has created the Devon Bird of Prey Centre
Karen runs the Centre with limited Staff and a dedicated team of volunteers who are there because of their passion for the birds.
The Centre is the realisation of Karen’s dream and the collection of birds you see is the culmination of many years hard work and determination. As all the birds are hers and the Centre is self-funded it is a project that is obviously very personal to Karen and her wish is that as many people as possible can have the experience and enjoyment of seeing the birds. We are offering the local community and general public at large the very best Bird of Prey experience and the opportunity of a greater understanding of the natural world around them conducted in a professional and personal way. For the Centre to continue to grow and expand we do need generous donations and sponsorship. To help fund The Centre we offer experience days, courses and outside events.
The Exciting news for 2013 is that we will be taking over the Bird of Prey Centre at Escot near Honiton where we will be providing daily displays throughout the season. The usual experience days will also be available from there and we will be offering a new experience which will be our countryside day, incorporating the birds with the wider natural environment.
