Bird of Prey Keeper Day
Spend a day with expert falconers at The Devon Bird of Prey Centre gaining insight into the ancient art of Falconry. This experience gives you an opportunity to glimpse behind the scenes and find out what is involved in handling, training and flying Birds of Prey. The experience includes: General Husbandry, Weighing and feeding birds, joining the falconers in training and flying the birds, which will include hands on experience and flying a selection of birds to the glove for yourself to experience the thrill of meeting the birds face-to-face

Enjoy close encounters with these magnificent birds, spend a half day gaining insight into the ancient art of falconry, you will
be amazed at the agility of the hawk, the grace of the owl and the spectacular
flight of the falcon, stooping the lure at over 100 mile per hour.
Your experience will include an introduction the different species and
then emphasis will be on hands on and flying a selection of the birds
to the glove for yourself. A wonderful treat for yourself or an ideal
gift for someone special.
