About Us
The Centre comprises of Karen Andriunas, who is the falconer and who's dream has created the Devon Bird of Prey Centre
Karen runs the Centre with a dedicated team of volunteers who are there because of their passion for the birds.
The
Centre is the realisation of Karen’s dream and the collection
of birds you see is the culmination of 11 years hard work and determination.
As all the birds are hers and the Centre is self-funded it is a project
that is obviously very personal to Karen and her wish is that as many
people as possible can have the experience and enjoyment of seeing the
birds. To this end the Centre operates on a donation basis. For the Centre
to continue to grow and expand we do need generous donations and sponsorship,
along with experience days, courses and outside events to fund the ongoing
projects. These include a rehabilitation unit for wild injured birds and
an indoor flying and interpretation arena.
